Today on LK Blog: The Big Fixture - The Follow up, and some important news.

ARSENAL 2 - BARCALONA 2
UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER FINALS - FIRST LEG

It was a cracking match last night; the final result being a draw, puting the North London club at equal chances in the next leg away at Baraclona.
More after the Jump

It was one blow after another for Arsenal; Fabregas recieving a yellow that mean he cant play next week, and William Gallas having to be replaced by Denilson after an injury.
Within the first minute of the second half, Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored for, Barcalona, and again 10 minutes later, putting the Gunners 2 goals down.
However, National player Theo Walcott shortly replaced Sagna to give the attacking boost that Arsenal needed if they wanted a chance in the Champions League.
The subistitution payed of not minutes later, Walcott making the score 2-1.

At the 80th minute, goal scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic was replaced by former Arsenal captain Thierry Henry, who was not placed in the original line up. Henry received a huge roar from the home fans, but was booed the moment he touched the ball.

The turning point came 5 minutes before the final whistle; the stadium becomes electric when Carles Puyol is shown the red card for a foul inside the penalty box against Cesc Fabregas. Cesc follows through with a screamer that flies past Barca Goalie Víctor Valdés, equalising.

Henry stayed on the pitch long after his team went back to the changing room, greeting the Arsenal supporters in tears to great applause.
Both teams are now with an equal chance of making it to the Semi's.

And now for some sad news. Last Friday, the LK Blog met with strong action from the similarly named juggernaut LK Blog. We here at the Blog have made the decision to stand down.
Therefore, this will be The LK Blog's last post.

I would like to thank my regular contributors for their continued musical and blogging poweress, and especially to thank you, the reader, for LK Blog would not have got as far as it did without you.

Goodbye, Bloggers, and God bless.
