Today on LK Blog: Mephedrone and the Big Fixture

First things first, Bloggers, I'm not going to apologise for not posting (since, what, Februray?) because I am a post whore. Eat it.
Ill just say this; GCSEs are a bitch.

El primero dan le agenda (see what I mean?), the 'legal' drug Mephedrone has been sweeping the headlines, the 'party drug' that has killed at least 3 youngsters in the UK alone.

More after the jump

What can I say? The drug is killing people who think that it will do them no harm. Give it the Class B position, the fecker.

ARSENAL VS. BARCALONA

Tonight, North London team Arsenal FC face Spanish team Barcalona, at home in the Emirates Stadium. It is the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League, and the second time that they have met in the tournament, the last being in the finals, where Barca won 2-1.
Thierry Henry, Arsenal Captain at the time, who is now playing against Arsenal tonight, admits he is nervous about meeting his old club in such a prestigious draw; "To return home is strange and even more so in the Champions League quarter-finals".
There has been fears over skipper Cesc Fabregas' health for the match tonight. The 22-year-old is receiving treatment for severe bruising to his leg and knee suffered in the draw with Birmingham on Saturday and did not train on Tuesday. However, he remains positive and is desperate to play in this vital fixture.

Arsenal will be meeting Henry's team again in Baracalona next week for the second leg.

THE WORLD CUP UPDATE With LK Blog

Meanwhile, there has been growing fears over England player Wayne Rooney, who has injured his ankle in Manchester United/Bayern Munich match. "He has obviously hurt his ankle," said Man U boss Ferguson. "It is too early to say. I don't think it's terribly serious but we'll wait and see."
This could mean bad news for England's chances in the up-coming South Africa World Cup; David Beckham already rulled out for his Achilles Tendon injury that crippled the international star against AC Milan, and Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole is also fighting for fitness in prepartion for the Cup after his broken ankle.

C'mon England, pull it together!
