In case you haven't heard of it, L.A Noire is Rockstar's (who made ground breaking free-roam Red Dead Redemption and the infamous Grand Theft Auto series) new video game, set in post-war 1940's America in Los Angeles. The game is inspired by the detective film noire style of the period.
It uses some fancy facial-recognition do-da to use real actors' expressions in the game.
Which is all very impressive, until I noticed a striking resemblance in the technique. Observe.
