For decades Star Trek has captivated millions of people and now, the dormant Star Trek franchise has been given a new lease of life in Star Trek XI, due to hit cinemas on the 8th of May. The new film has been treated with a star studded cast; including, surprisingly, comedy star Simon Pegg as 'Scotty'. The film is apparently aimed not just at Trekkies, but to appeal to Star Trek newbies as well, garunteeing a re-ignited interest in the retro episodes. I know I want to make a move to the local Odeon this week.
